World Cup Åre is a classic organizer for women World Cup races, as well as the former organizer for the WCS 1954 & 2007.
Åre is a home venue for Kajsa Kling from Swedish National Alpine Ski Team. This venue is the Swedish Alpine National Arena for both the Swedish National Alpine Ski Team and for Swedish and International Ski Clubs in general.
Åre is the central destination for Alpine skiing in Scandinavia and it is one of the most popular destinations to visit for Swedish skiers/guests along the winter time.
Åre is the host for 3 World Cup Events during 2014; AUDI FIS Ski Alpine World Cup, AUDI Ski Cross World Cup and Freestyle World Cup. Åre is known as a party village and it sometimes called “little Stockholm”, because of its fabulous nightlife and a lot´s of great restaurants and shops.
