At the end of the World Cup Season 2015/16 the best racers in Alpine ski sport gather in St.Moritz to compete in the decisive final races under conditions fit for a World Championship. They determine the winners for the individual disciplines, who will be awarded the coveted crystal balls. The location of the World Cup Final is always the World Chamiponship destination of the following year; this is the big test for the organising team of the FIS Alpine World Ski Championship 2017: they can test the design of the runs for the individual disciplines as well as infrastructure, concepts and strategies for the World Ski Championship and make adjustments where necessary that will benefit the World Championship races. In addition to thrilling competitions, the spectators can look forward to a varied program of events: in the finishing area there will be a village with food stands to cater for the public, there will be entertainment and above all an exciting atmosphere generated by the stadium TV station and music.
