Aug 23, 2018·Alpine SkiingMarcel Hirscher won the penultimate men's World Cup slalom Sunday to rack up a 12th win in the current season and his career's 57th en route to a seventh straight overall crystal globe. The two-time Olympic champion from Austria stretched his lead over his only remaining rival, Henrik Kristoffersen, to 289 points. The Norwegian can't overtake Hirscher as he will only compete in two more races this season.
