Anna Swenn Larsson of Sweden rebounded from disappointment in Flachau to claim the second podium of her career and her first since 2014 in the Maribor (SLO) slalom of the Golden Fox Trophy race to the cheers of her fellow competitors and fans. She finished as runner-up behind Mikaela Shiffrin who secured a personal record 13th World Cup win of the season heading into the Åre 2019 FIS World Ski Championships.

Wendy Holdener of Switzerland attacked the second run to move up from sixth position onto the podium for her fifth third-place finish of the season. Petra Vlhova, who was in second place after the first run, struggled in challenging soft conditions and ultimately finished in fifth place.

The ladies' tour heads North to Åre (SWE) for the 2019 FIS World Ski Championships with downhill training beginning on Monday, 4th February.
