Further snowfall prevents Beaver Creek of holding the last downhill training on the Birds Of Prey. As forecasted, heavy snowfall came in during the night and continued into the day. A good 30 centimeters was laying on the 2,7 kilometers long race course as the jury decided to cancel the last training.

The weather is pretty unstable in the upcoming days too, so the Vail Valley Foundation, organizer of the events in Beaver Creek, together with the US Ski & Snowboard association and the jury took the decision to switch the program for the next two days. The Birds of Prey downhill is now scheduled on Friday starting at 10:45 local time (18:45 CET), while the super-g will take place on Saturday at 11:00 local time (19:00 CET).
