The men had their first downhill training today in the Canadian rookies ahead of the Audi FIS Ski World Cup at Lake Louise.

Christoph Innerhofer laid down the fastest time. The Italian racer had two podiums in super-g last season in Kitzbuehel and in Are and is feeling great after a smooth summer preparation. He is followed by the two Austrians Matthias Mayer, Olympic Champion in downhill in 2014 and in super-g 2018, and Otmar Striedinger, who both showed that they are in a great shape in this early season.

It's just a training run, and I'm trying not to focus on the result too much. At this point, I have a really good feeling on the skis and I look forward to race on the week-end.Christof Innerhofer (ITA)

A downhill is scheduled on Saturday 24th November 2018 at 12:15 local time (20:15 CET) and will be followed by a super-g on Sunday 25th November 2018, starting at 12:00 local time (20:00 CET).
