Sweden wins the qualification race again

Also for the men's slalom of the World Ski Championships at Are 2019, a qualification race had to be held to determine who recieves the 50 remaining spots open for the medal event tomorrow.

And also today, a Swedish younggun won the quali race. Carl Jonsson is a 18 year young athlete from Kloevsjoe Alpina, 150km South from Are. Last winter, he became a junior national champion both in giant slalom and in slalom, which allowed him to have his first starts on the World Cup this season in Schladming and Madonna di Camiglio.

Jonsson was followed by Germany's Anton Tremmel and Netherlands' Max Van Rossum.
