Switzerland wins its second gold medal at the Fis Alpine Junior World Ski Championships in Val di Fassa and takes the lead in the medal thanks to Nicole Good's success in the ladies’ alpine combination. The 21-year-old from St. Gallen, tenth in the morning SuperG, managed to climb nine positions and conquer the most prestigious result of her career. She was one of the favourites after her recent victory in the European Cup on the snow of Les Diablerets.

On the second step of the podium, 0"50 detached, the Norwegian Kaja Norbye, slips around her neck another medal after the (bronze) one won in giant slalom and gives the sixth medal to his nation, already victorious in the SuperG in the morning with Hannah Saethereng. Third place went to Swedish Ida Dannewitz, just one hundredth of a second overtaken by Norbye.

The day begins with the SuperG on the La VolatA track at Passo San Pellegrino which, in addition to being the first round of the alpine combined, also assigns the title of the discipline, after the postponement due to the wind of the race initially scheduled on Friday. The fastest Hannah Saethereng, who slips to sixth place after the slalom, with the Austrian Julia Scheib (silver in SuperG in the morning) who prefers not to take the start and focus on the downhill on Wednesday.

Nicole Good redeemed herself, climbing from tenth to first place, with Norbye and Dannewitz in turn good at taking advantage in their preferred discipline, rising respectively from 19th and 12th place in the SuperG.
Just outside the medals area, in fourth and fifth place, the American Keely Cashman (who climbed one position from the SuperG) and the German Martina Willibald, fourth and fifth at 0 "77 and 0 "83.

The ladies’ program will be completed on Wednesday by the downhill, while tomorrow the men will return to the track with the giant slalom on the Aloch of Pozza di Fassa: the race will be broadcasted live on TV on Raisport, Eurosport, Orf Nbc, Cbc, Poverknost circuit (Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Ukraine) and streaming on the Olympic Channel platform, with first run at 9.30 am and second run at 1.00 pm.

This victory was wonderful. In SuperG I couldn't express my best and I was quite against it. In the slalom I started out with the aim of making up for the not-so-good morning race and I'm really happy with what I was able to do. I started from twentieth place and it was still perfect.Nicole Good (SUI)
For me it's the second medal in this Fis Alpine Junior World Ski Championships and it's a very strong emotion. After the super-G the morale wasn't the best, I was expecting something better and that's why I wanted to tackle the slalom attacking all. I didn't think I could go up to the podium but instead I put another medal around my neck.Kaya Norbye (NOR)
I was very nervous before the slalom. I knew that I could climb several positions, but I also knew that I would have to ski well to do it. I found a perfect track, really nice, and I managed to win a bronze medal that is great for me.Ida Dannewitz (SWE)
