Petra Vlhova (SVK) is the 2020 "Snow Queen" of Zagreb!
The Slovak skier starts the new year in the best way possible, taking her first slalom win in Zagreb, thanks to two perfect runs. Vlhova was leading already after first run - 1.16s ahead of Mikaela Shiffrin (USA) - and pushed even more in the second run, finishing 1.31s in front of the American superstar.

Shiffrin made a mistake in the top section in the first run and tried to come back with a very strong second run, which however was not enough to reduce the gap from Vlhova.

It's the 24th slalom race in a row that is won by either Shiffrin or Vlhova, showing that these two incredible athletes keep being one step ahead of the competition.

Katharina Liensberger (AUT) took her third World Cup podium - the second in slalom - finishing third (+3.49s) proving once again her top shape this season.

Tomorrow it's the men's turn to race on Sljeme in Zagreb with the first run starting at 14.15 CET and the second one at 17.40 CET.
