FIS officials together with representatives from the Local Organisers in Altenmarkt-Zauchensee (AUT) gave the go-head last Saturday for this season's third Downhill and first Alpine Combined stop of the World Cup tour.
The obligatory snow control took place on the World cup course in the presence of the LOC President Michael Walchhofer, Chief of Race Thomas Gsodam, Chief of Course Alexander Kronreif, LOC course expert Heinz Stohl and FIS representative Atle Skaardal, who gave the green light to the Austrian weekend.

There is plenty of snow, over one meter, on the entire course and from now on, the main focus will be on slope preparation so that the best Women's ski racers in the world can compete in two weeks.

The programme will see Downhill race on Saturday 11-01-2020 (11.45 CET) and Alpine Combined race on Sunday 12-01-2020 (9.15 SuperG/11.45 Slalom CET).
