Brignone and Crans Montana, love continues.

For the fourth time, Federica Brignone (ITA) won this race setting the record of becoming the first woman ever to win 4 Alpine Combined in the same venue. Brignone grabbed the early lead with a super-G run of 1min, 15.62sec, before proving her technical skills with the quickest slalom effort of the day in 40.62sec.
Petra Vhlova (SVK) has been a real threat to Federica, the Slovakian finished 0.58 behind the Italian. She skied a masterful super g run, but she ended her race straddle in the slalom. The other threats to Brignone were Gisin and Holdener finished respectively 4th and 5th.
Brignone posted a total best time of one minute and 56.24 seconds. She conquered both the 15th World Cup win and the lead of the overall standings by 73 points on Mikaela Shiffrin with 11 races remaining.
After the best made their exit, the second and third step of the podium are occupied of Alpine Combined new faces: Franziska Gritsch (AUT), a specialist in technical events, completes a surprising super G run in 5th place which, in addition to her technical slalom skills, allows her to grab the second seasonal podium after St.Moritz Parallel race.
In third place, the woman of infinite surprises, Ester Ledecka who put together a great super G run added to an excellent slalom one.
The World Cup season continues with a super-G at La Thuile in Italy on February 29, with another Alpine Combined the following day at the same venue.
