Calendars for 2019/20 season released

The Fis World Cup Calendars for the upcoming season were released and approved by the Technical Committees.

The Alpine Combined is coming back with a stronger program into the upcoming calendars, the FIS council in February 2019 decided to maintain and promote this discipline to make it more attractive. More races have been added to both calendar due the implementation of the Alpine Combined: 43 races on the Ladies Side with 4 AC and 46 races on the man’s side with 3 AC.

The World Championship in Cortina maintain the Alpine Combined on the program along with the introduction of the individual parallel event.

The Audi FIS Alpine Ski World Cup is going to China for the men’s tour for the first time ever. Yanquing (CHN) ‘s project is impressive and incredible constructive work are going on to host Men’s superG and Downhill as a test event for the next Olympic Games in Beijing.
