Still reeling🤪 #airforce #usafa

If the U.S. Air Thunderbirds call, you can’t say no and you need to be ready for one of the best experience in your life.

Mikaela Shiffrin, on may 27th, joined the Thunderbirds riding in and even flying on F-16D twin-seat trainer aircraft out of Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado.

“Wiggles” ended up to be her call sign by the Thunderbirds because she has been able to fly the plane by her self at 400-500mph and make few manoeuvres known as her nickname - slalom in the sky.

Mikaela Shiffrin, who was the first Olympic Champion to receive an invite in recent history, said that it has been the most incredible thing she ever experienced and the adrenalin's impact was unbelievable.

Watch here the entire video from the American Olympic Champion’s experience.

I think I'm still recovering from that flight with the Air Force Thunderbirds Memorial Day week. 🙃 I know I promised you all an edit, so here’s a little footage from inside the F-16...doesn't truly do the experience justice, but gives you a little idea of what it was like to cruise through the clouds. 9 Gs?! Mind still blown. 🤯 Full edit with 360 footage on my Facebook - so check it out there! Thank you again, @af_academy! 🎥: @afthunderbirds @usskiteam 🇺🇸🌟@teamusa
