New FIS Chief Race Director - World Cup Women, Peter Gerdol made his first visit to Lake Louise last Saturday and he made a most informative inspection of Lake Louise World Cup downhill course with the canadian team.

Accompanying Peter was Andi Krönner, Technical Operations Manager - Women. Leading the inspection was our new Lake Louise Audi FIS Ski World Cup Chief of Race - Women, Sue Schwartz.

The walk down of the full race course gave the two 'new' chiefs a great opportunity to discuss the coming year's event. We also toured the event facilities at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise and those in the base of the Lake Louise Ski Resort.

Assisting on the tour was Rocket Miller, Mountain Manager for the Lake Louise Ski Resort as well as Darrell MacLachlan, Brian Lynam and Lynne Gibson from the Lake Louise Race Organizing Committee.

Following the successful inspection and meeting in Lake Louise, Peter and  Andi travelled to the Panorama Mountain Resort (in Panorama, B.C.) to meet with the organizers of the 2022 FIS Alpine Junior World Ski Championships.
