More than seven months after his right knee ACL injury suffered in Kirchberg (AUT), Dominik Paris was able to put on his skis again and enjoy a day on snow on the Stelvio Pass. The Italian speed ace, winner of the 2018/19 Super-G World Cup, was able to freeski on winter snow alongside his coach Raimund Plancker.
Paris was able to find a good feeling already on the first day and is satisfied with his first turns as he plans the next steps of his comeback.

"I did about ten runs this morning - said Paris at the end of the training -, I was able to make the most of the day. I felt good on skis, it was a positive day. It had just snowed on Stelvio and there was a bit of winter snow, so the feeling with the snow was the right one. I should have stayed also tomorrow, but the weather is supposed to get worse and it's not worth it."

"I talked to the technicians and I think I will go to Zermatt with my teammates, already on Thursday. Maybe, at first, I will ski on the side of Cervinia, where I can go a little more calmly and then as the days go by we will see how the situation develops".

We are glad to see "Domme" back on snow and wish him all the best for the coming months, hoping to see him at the start gate soon!

back to the roots⛷⛷
