In these hard times of pandemic many things have changed, such as, for example, the awarding of a prize to Rasmus Windingstad, the winner of the Südtirol Ski Trophy 2019. Windingstad, who won the fourth edition of the trophy last December, received his award at a virtual "Aperitivo Alto Adige" organized by IDM Alto Adige. South Tyrolean products were tasted and starred chef Nicola Laera from the La Stüa de Michil restaurant in Corvara presented one of his dishes.

A life-size wooden bust, a stay in South Tyrol and 20,000 euros: this is the prize that was awarded to Rasmus Windingstad, winner of the Südtirol Ski Trophy 2019. Each year the award goes to the skier who gets the most points in the four World Cup races in South Tyrol (Val Gardena + Alta Badia). Last December, the young Norwegian secured the victory with a total of 137 points, including his first World Cup victory in Alta Badia. The trophy has always been in Norwegian hands, as Windingstad's victory followed the ones of his compatriots Kjetil Jansrud (2016) and Aleksander Aamodt Kilde (2017 and 2018).

Last year, my first win and some of you might not know that I also won the South Tyrol cup as my teammates @kjansrud and @akilde has done before me. Today we celebrated it in the safest way possible due to the situation we are in, bummed I couldn’t go there and see Val Gardena and Alta Badia without the snow, but hopefully I can go there at a different time! Teams meeting worked well and I’m happy we could make something work! The speck was excellent and the wine was superb😎 @alta_badia_official @dolomitesvalgardena @visitsouthtyrol
