Lara Gut-Behrami (SUI) wins over Sofia Goggia (ITA) in St. Moritz with flat visibility but perfect slope conditions.

What a spectacle Goggia and Gut-Behrami put on in the Super-G, the dominating racers of this season, face off in the first of two races in the Engadine by hundredths. Sofia had an 11-hundredths advantage in the super-G in Lake Louise, and now Lara has an 18-hundredths advantage over Sofia.  Lara Gut Beherami signed her first victory of the season, the 17th of her career in the discipline (second ever, equal to Renate Goetschl and behind Lindsey Vonn) and 33rd overall, for a red bib now shared with the Italian. The Swiss star won her third victory in St. Moritz 13 years after her first World Cup victory on the same piste.

An excellent Mikaela Shiffrin (USA) follows the incredible duo and she smiles at her 3rd place today, even though she is 1"18 away from the winner.

Ragnhild Mowinckel (NOR), who had already been brilliant in Lake Louise and was fourth today (1"45 behind Gut-Behrami), made a remarkable comeback, ahead of the best of the Austrians, an excellent Ariane Raedler.

Tomorrow there will be another chance for a duel here in St.Moritz.
