The Downhill on the Oreiller-Killy still belongs to Sofia Goggia (ITA).

Val D'Isere Downhill victory is Sofia's fifteenth, the seventh in a row in Downhill, the fourth this season and the sixth in the 2021 calendar year. These numbers bring her closer to two skiing legends: only Annemarie Moser-Proell (8 in 1973, 7 in 1978) and Picabo Street (6 in 1995) have managed to do better.

A race with a few minor mistakes and therefore not perfect, but enough to keep behind a fast Breezy Jonhson (USA), who was the only one who managed to get close to the leader in the discipline.
Breezy finished behind the Italian ace in the two Lake Louise races. With her well-cut curves, the American put in a great run, showing the best speed in the race.

Behind the fast duo, Mirjam Puchner (AUT) completed the photocopy of the first podium in Lake Louise Downhill.

Tomorrow it will be Super G time on French soil for the Women's Alpine World Cup.
