Three in a row for Kilde in super-G

Aleksander Aamodt Kilde (NOR) claimed another super-G victory, making it three in a row. The Norwegian had already won in Beaver Creek and Val Gardena so was the clear favorite in today’s race.

Finishing second, was surprise Raphael Haaser (AUT), wearing bib 25, he claimed his first World Cup podium after finishing 0.72 seconds behind Kilde. He beat his teammate and the reigning super-G World Champion, Vincent Kriechmayr, by 0.13 seconds with a stunning race.

Last year’s winner, Ryan Cochran-Siegle (USA), looked like he would make the podium un Haaser's heroics bumped him into fourth place, still a solid performance for the American.

Racing is scheduled to continue tomorrow at 11:30 CET with another super-G.
