The French Team is coming from a successful 2021/2022 Olympic Season by returning from Beijing with three medals.

At 41 years old, Johan Clarey (FRA) won his first Olympic Medal in the queen discipline, the downhill, by finishing with a silver medal and Clément Noel (FRA) won his first Olympic title in slalom at the age of 25. Noel, who started the 21/22 season as the big favourite with a victory in the slalom season opening in Val d'Isère, had a rollercoaster season which, however, turned into the crowning of a dream with the Olympic gold medal.

Mathieu Faivre is the author of the third French medal that comes in the discipline in which he is World Champion and proves once again that he is the athlete of big events.

With France hosting the World Ski Alpine Championships in the upcoming season, the National Team hopes to shine again on home soil as Tessa Worley did when she won the Giant Slalom Globe for the second time in her career.

Led by the directors of the French Teams, Lionel Pellicier and David Chastan, here is the composition of the French Alpine Ski Team for the 2022-2023 season.
