Summer training camps

Whether in Argentina, Chile or New Zealand, the winter conditions allowed optimal preparation and some athletes even took the start of some races in order to get back on race mode before the season opening in Sölden.
Overall Globe winners
The overall globe winners Mikaela Shiffrin (USA) and Marrco Odermatt (SUI) seem ready to defend last season's opening victory in Soelden.
“It’s been a super productive camp in Chile the last few weeks!! We are nearing the end of this camp, and I just wanted to thank my coaches and the @usskiteam for all of your hard work and support, as always” Wrote Mikaela on her Instagram account on 16th September.
Ushuaïa

Slovakian ski star Perta Vlhova was there, as well as the Swiss, French, Austrian, Italian, German and Swedish teams.
Several skiers took part in South American Cup races during their training camps and someone took the opportunity to put on longer skis than usual and try to win.
La Parva
Chile also welcomed renowned athletes. The Shiffrin-Kilde duo exploited La Parva to its fullest, and training together will certainly bring great success for the coming season. Like them, the speed teams of Austria and Germany also chose Chile for their training.
