See how Mikaela Shiffrin (USA) has managed to leave the disappointment of the Beijing 2022 Olympic Games behind, understand the philosophy that drives skiing’s newest rockstar Lucas Braathen (NOR) and even get an insight into what Aleksander Aamodt Kilde (NOR) does not want to eat for breakfast every day…

New video series with all this and much more have landed and are available to watch right now.

FIS Alpine’s: Down The Line

The first season of Down The Line, the brand new FIS Alpine series, will peel back the layers and showcase just what it takes to be the fastest man on skis.

In the opening episode – Skiing within the limits – reigning Olympic super-G silver medallist Ryan Cochran-Siegle and the rest of the USA men’s speed team take viewers inside the nerve-jangling days before a big downhill.

From the different things they are trying to learn from each training run to the ongoing battle to locate the limit, Cochran-Siegle, Bryce Bennett and the rest reveal all.

Mikaela Shiffrin: Moving Right Along

While she chases down every record going, Mikaela Shiffrin has given her legion of followers just what they want; a sneak peek into her world on and off the slopes.

Her brand new series, Moving Right Along, not only allows her to share her passions and principles, it is also the vehicle with which the USA superstar is launching her personal YouTube channel.

In episode one, the four-time overall FIS Crystal Globe champion charts how everything from fan love, to sunrise training sessions and kitchen time with boyfriend Kilde has enabled her to charge into what already looks like a record-setting season.

Pinheiro: Refresh - a portrait of a modern ski racer

Atomic Skiing’s superb series on Lucas Pinheiro Braathen (NOR) is back. After October’s first instalment introduced the audience to the soulful Norwegian, the second episode delves deep into how such a captivating character prepares for the unique glamour and grind of a World Cup season.

Braathen leads viewers through everything including explaining the relationship that binds Norway’s ‘Attacking Vikings’ together, the unrelenting 24-hour commitment he gives to every part of his life and how he sees ski racing as a ‘form of art’.

Time in his company is certainly time well spent.

Draw Your Line: Racing Hearts

In a neat bit of symmetry, Shiffrin, Kilde and Braathen are also the leading lights in the first episode of the new Draw Your Lineavailable to watch now.

All Team Oakley athletes, the trio are typically honest and open. Among the many nuggets, Shiffrin unveils how she believes there is no such thing as an ‘off-season’, while Kilde goes deep on the unflinching honesty that propels him and his teammates and Braathen shares that it is only skiing that makes him ‘feel normal’.

Kilde, the reigning World Cup downhill champion, best sums up the feeling prevailing all four videos when he says with a grin, “being a skier is pretty awesome”.
