Jasna's summer inspection was a success. The Slovak ski resort will host the women's Audi FIS World Cup slalom and giant slalom in January.

“It is very important to come to the venues in person, the contact with the organisers is invaluable. We were especially interested in questions related to the TV operation, camera placement, general safety and spectators. We are very satisfied with the current stage of preparations and are cheering for some new ideas that the spectators can experience in Jasná," said FIS Chief Race Director Peter Gerdol.

Audi FIS World Cup will take place in Jasna on January 21 and 22, 2024.

“We are fine-tuning the visual and the entire marketing presentation, which will again be based on underlining the ladies' potential and beauty. We expect up to 30,000 fans on the race weekend, which requires precise preparation, huge commitment and excellent logistics," revealed Jiří Trumpeš, Head of the  Organizing Committee.

“FIS team was extremely satisfied with the conditions in Jasná. Compared to 2021, some corridors will be changed, and spectator stands will be added," says Jasna 2024 Sports Director Jana Palovičová.

Compared to 2021, the organisers are preparing several changes concerning the competition track. "This year, we decided to modify the finish area by taking the excess soil to the destination" clarified Maroš Kupčo, the Chief of Jasna’s World Cup slopes.
