Being one of the less well known ski resorts in Switzerland, the charming resort of Scuol which is situated close to the famous Swiss National Park offers some great advantages compared to the more known but maybe also more crowded resorts in the Alps.

Besides some stunning panorama the lack of long queues and over 80km of ski pistes are worth a visit, especially as the terrain covers the needs of everyone, the beginner, the intermediate and the experienced rider.

In the 2017-18 season, it's time for Scuol to come to the fore now and join the World Cup host family with many other great Swiss resorts.

In fact, Scuol will be the tenth Swiss resort in history to host a FIS Snowboard World Cup event.

And being the home of 2014 Olympic Silver medallist Nevin Galmarini it's obvious that the Alpine Snowboard World Cup circuit stops by for a parallel slalom race on March 3, 2018.
