Swiss Snowboard announces 2021/22 teams

A total of 52 athletes were selected to be part of the strong Swiss Snowboard teams 2021/22, of which 13 were named to receive the national team status. The biggest national team is the Freestyle one with seven members, followed by the team of Alpine Snowboarders with four and the Snowboard Cross Team with two athletes.

The other 27 athletes are part of either the PRO or the CHALLENGER team, which makes it 2 more than the year before.

For the Snowboard Alpine national team, it will be Dario Caviezel, Jenny Ladina, Patrizia Kummer and Julie Zogg. They will be joined by the PRO team with Nevin Galmarini, Larissa Gasser and Jessica Keiser. And the CHALLENGER team will consist of Flurina Bätschi, Gian Casanova, Ricarda Hauser, Sebastian Schüler and Xenia Spörri.

The Snowboard Cross national team will consist of Kalle Koblet and Sina Siegenthaler. They will be supported by PRO athletes Lara Casanova, Sophie Hediger, Muriel Jost, Jerome Lymann and Nick Watter. And finally, the CHALLENGER squad will see Thomas Abegglen, Aline Albrecht, Luana Bianchi, Pascal Bitschnau, Robbert Coevoets, Valerio Jud and Nicola Lubasch enter the start gates.

Last, but not least, joining the Freestyle national squad next season will be Moritz Boll, Jonas Bösiger, Patrick Burgener, David Hablützel, Nicolas Huber, Jan Scherrer and Moritz Thönen.

The Freestyle PRO team will be represented by Lia-Mara Bösch, Ariane Burri, Wendelin Gauger and Berenice Wicki.
