With just 50 days left, the anticipation for the FIS Snowboard Alpine World Cup season is palpable! While the upcoming calendar echoes the one presented in the spring, a handful of tweaks have been made to further amplify the excitement for fans worldwide.

The season will kick off in the picturesque Italian Dolomites with two classic PGS races: first in Carezza on December 14, followed by Cortina d’Ampezzo on December 16. From there, the tour will make its inaugural visit to the globally celebrated Davos, Switzerland. Here, enthusiasts can look forward to a gripping parallel giant slalom showdown just before the holiday festivities on December 23.

As we transition into 2024, the adrenaline continues with a return to Switzerland's scenic landscapes in Scuol on January 13. Next up, Bad Gastein will set the evening alight with a mesmerizing parallel slalom and a team event, slated for January 16-17.

Matching the tempo, the spectacle then moves to Bulgaria's pristine slopes in Pamporovo, offering fans back-to-back PSL races on January 20-21. The thrill persists in Rogla with a PGS race on January 25, leading straight into another high-energy competition in Austria's Simonhoehe.

February is set to venture transatlantically, heading to Canada's Blue Mountain for a pair of PGS events. This marks a rigorous stretch of 10 competitions in a mere 21 days. Following this, snowboarders will etch their tracks on Krynica's slopes in Poland's first-ever FIS Snowboard World Cup event on January 24-25.

Winterberg, initially pegged to inaugurate the season, will now unfold its charm as the penultimate event from March 9-10. The grand finale promises an enthralling conclusion with consecutive events in Berchtesgaden, Germany, from March 16-17.

In summary, the 2023/24 FIS Snowboard Alpine World Cup is set to feature 12 unforgettable stops across eight countries, boasting 19 events, which include six parallel slaloms, nine parallel giant slaloms, and four team competitions. Brace yourselves for an avalanche of snowboarding exhilaration!
