Alliansloppet 2017 taking place this weekend
Aug 31, 2018·Cross-CountryAlliansloppet is one of the world's biggest rollerski events. It is taking place this Saturday. Last year more than 1600 athletes took part. The race is held in Trollhättan, a city well known for its impressive waterfall and locks. The event, which gathers the world strongest long distance skiers, will celebrate its 10 years of existence.
A lot of top Cross-Country skiers are going to compete in Alliansloppet 2017. Sweden's skiers Karl-Johan Westberg, Anna Dyvik, Jennie Öberg, Britta Johansson Norgren, Czech skier Lukas Bauer or Norwegians Tord Asle Gjerdalen or Johan Kjølstad will be at the start. Last but not least a battle between Petter Northug and Calle Halfvarsson is expected.
