Almost 100 young athletes from 14 nations met in Sjusjoen, Norway at the junior camp from 28th July - 4th August. The camp was organised by the Norwegian Ski Association in cooperation with Statoil.

The goal of the camp is to share knowledge and experience between participating nations, and help to improve the level of Cross-Country skiers in different countries

"Talent development is about learning. At Statoil's Cross-Country Skiing talent camp, we want to inspire young talents to keep the effort, glow and learning focus, "says Astrid Uhrenholdt Jacobsen and Johannes Høsflot Klæbo, mentors for Statoil tomorrow's heroes.

Participants of the camp had two hard training sessions almost every day. The training programme included roller skiing, running, strength training and technique. In addition, the juniors heard a number of inspirational lectures on how to become better skiers.
