• When he was 4 years old, his grandfather made a trail in the backyard of his house
• Calle was talented in sports but was strongest in running and skiing
• When he was 9 he won a competition with 16 year olds
• At the age 16 he moved to the ski high school – skidgymnasiet in Mora
• After finishing the high school he moved back to Falun
CAREER
• First international appearance at the FIS Junior World Ski Championships in Malles, Val Venosta (ITA). In the final of the sprint free he beat his compatriot Jesper Modin
• First World Cup start in 2009 in Falun (SWE)
• First World Championships in 2013 in Val di Fiemme
• Halfvarsson was the anchor man for the Swedish team in the 4x10 km relay
PERSONAL
• Halfvarsson likes various sports. In the summer he does tennis and football
• He likes motorsports
• Latest distraction he has discovered is fresbee golf
