FIS Roller Skiing World Cup to be concluded in Trento/Monte Bondone

From Friday 8th-10th September the city of Trento and its mountain, Monte Bondone will host the FIS Roller Skiing World Cup final of the 2017 season.

The program features the sprint in the afternoon of Friday, September 8, in the historic city centre of Trento. On Saturday morning, the competition programme moves to Monte Bondone for an uphill race in classic. The FIS Roller Skiing season will be conlcuded on Sunday with a free technique pursuit in the Aldeno.

More than hundred athletes from 14 nations are expected to compete in Trento and Monte Bondone. Among the seniors Sweden's Robin Norum is leading the World Cup standing almost 200 points ahead of Victor Gustafsson. Alena Prochazkova of Slovakia is leading the ladies' standing ahead of Sandra Olsson of Sweden and Italian Lisa Bolzan. In the junior categories Francesco Becchis and Alba Mortagna are leading the standings.
