FIS Rollerski World Cup to get started in a month

There is only 1 month left until the start of the FIS Rollerski World Cup 2018. This summer World Cup circuit features competitions in Torsby (SWE), Madona (LAT), Khanty-Mansijs (RUS) and Trento/ Val di Fiemme (ITA).

World Cup competition program consist of 3 - Interval start competitions, 3 - Individual Sprint competitions, 3- Mass starts and 2 – Pursuit competitions both classic style (30%) and free technique (70%). Torsby and Khanty-Mansijsk will be newcomers in Rollerski World Cup circuit. Season highlight will be final stage in Italy with 4 races which will start in Trento with sprint and finalize with final climb pursuit to Alpe Cermis.

Defending FIS Rollerski World Cup winners

Robin Norum (SWE) is going to attempt defending the overall FIS Rollerski World Cup title for the 4th time in the row. On the ladies’ side Alena Prochazkova (SVK) is the defender from the last year.
