French rollerski nationals in Auvergne

From 24th - 25th August Auvergne hosted French Rollerski Nationals. Sprint free technique was scheduled in Issoire on Friday and on Saturday it was time for mass start classic in Picherande.

Ladies' sprint free was dominated by Anouk Faivre-Picon who won the French the title ahead of Delhine Claudel and Laura Chamiot-Maitral. On the men's side Lucas Chanavat grabbed the title with Renaud Jay and Martin Collet accompanying him on the podium.

Saturday's mass start classic saw a surprising winner as the sprint specialist Baptiste Gros showed his distance skills and won the national title. Renaud Jay finished again second and Adrien Backsheider took the bronze. On the ladies side Delphine Claudel took revenge and powered to victory. Anouk Faivre-Picon took second and Laura Chamiot-Maitral took second bronze.
