Karlsson and Amundsen Junior World Champions in Skiathlon

Frida Karlsson of Sweden and Norway's Harald Oestberg Amundsen won junior skiathlon competitions on the day 5 of the FIS JWSC in Goms, SUI.

Despite the heavy snowfall Sweden's Frida Karlsson took the lead right after the start and the whole competition. After the ski exchange Karlsson was able to speed up and left Norwegian Lone Johansen in second place and USA's  Hailey Swirbul in the 3rd place.

Norwegian podium in the men's race

Norwegian skiers dominated the men's skiathlon with Harald Amundsen Oestberg winning gold, Jon Rolf Hope Skamo taking silver and  Joergen Lippert claiming bronze.
