New World Record in 24hrs Cross-Country Skiing

Hans Mäenpää and Anni Angeria or the new men's and ladies' World Record holders in the 24hrs Cross-Country Skiing.

The attempt to break the World Cup took place from 9:00 a.m. 12th April 2018 to 9:00 a.m. 13th April 2018. Hans Mäenpää set the new record which now is 472,007 km. The previous record holder Teemu Virtanen skied 433 km.

The second World Record also goes to Finland, thanks to Anni Angerie, who was able to ski as far as 375,564 km in 24 hrs. She broke the previous record of the Czech skier Kamila Horakova (333 km).
