Day two of competitions in Muonio, Finland featured 5/10 km classic interval start events.  Finland's Krista Parmakoski won for the ladies while Russia's Alexander Bolshunov won for the men.  In Bruksvallarna, Sweden the race weekend got started with the 10/15 km free technique interval competitions.  Chris Andre Jespersen of Norway comfortably won the men's race and Sweden's Emma Wiken took it for the ladies.
