Scandinavian Cup in Piteå - Event news

Dear all Scandinavian Ski Friends:

Here below I, together with the OC in Piteå, present the timetable for the Scandinavian Cup in Piteå 05-07.01.2018.  All races will be live streamed via www.sportlib.se/volkswagencup and the interest for the event is very high from media and fans since the quality of the start field is expected to be very high.  Due to this we have planned the races so we don´t interfere with the TV schedule for Tour de Ski final.

FRIDAY, 5th JANUARY 2018
8.00 - 16.00 Race Office opening hours Lindbäcksstadion
09.30 Sprint Classic qualification Ladies and Men
11.30 Q-finals, Semi-finals, finals
Ca 13.30 Official Prize giving ceremony Lindbäcksstadion
14.00-15.00 Official training 10/15km F (The track is not illuminated so headlight is recommended)
18.00 Team captains meeting in the Waxing house

SATURDAY, 6th JANUARY 2018
8.00 - 16.00 Race Office opening hours Lindbäcksstadion
10.00 Women 10km individual F (20 sec start interval)
Ca 11.30 Prize giving ceremony Lindbäcksstadion
11.30 Men 15km individual F (20 sec start interval)
