Spring is not only the time for athletes to take break, go for vacation and recharge the batteries. Some of the top Cross-Country skiers suffered injuries and are on their way to recovery.

Norway's Niklas Dyrhaug fell during a sprint race in Mosjoen in Norway and got his shoulder “unsorted”. He is ok but due to MR he is considering an operation.

Right after having being invited to the French president Emanuel Macron, Richard Jouve had to return home to have his foot operated. "Everything went well, I will be resting a while and then I'll be ready for for the new goals," Jouve wrote on his facebook.

Bad luck is pursuing another Frenchman Robin Duvillard as he broke his collar bone.

We wish all the injured athletes good luck and speedy recovery!
