Toppidrettsveka 2017 ready to roll

Summer is in the full swing and Cross-Country skiers are working hard to get ready for the Olympic winter season. Roller Skiing is not only an important element of summer training but also an opportunity for the world’s top athletes to test their summer shape against their competitors.

From 17th-19th August 2017 some of the best Cross-Country Skiing athletes will take part one of the most popular summer competitions in Norway. Toppidrettsveka consists of three days of running and roller skis competitions.

The start list features 48 ladies and 136 men. To name just a few, Marit Bjoergen, Petter Northug, Heidi Weng, Emil Iversen, Dario Cologna, Iivo Niskanen, Maurice Manificat, Anna Haag, Hanna Falk are taking part.

August 17th - Aure
14:30 - Start qualifications, sprint rollerski classic 1.5km
15:50 - Qualifications end
16:00 - Quarterfinals ladies and men (10 heats a 5 min)
16:50 - Semifinals ladies and men (4 heats a 5 min)
17:20 - Final ladies
17:30 - Final men
17:45 – Prize giving ceremonies

August 18th - Aure

10:00 - Masstart rollerski skate, 24km Aure - Brekka, ladies
10:30 - Masstart rollerski skate, 24km Aure - Brekka, men

August 18th - Trondheim
18:00 - Start qualifications, sprint rollerski skate 1km (1 lap), ladies
18:10 - Start qualifications, sprint rollerski skate 1km (1 lap), men
18:30 - Qualifications end
18:45 - Quarterfinals ladies and men (10 heat a 3 min)
19:30 - Semifinals ladies and men (4 heat a 3 min)
19:45 - Final ladies
19:55 - Final men

August 19th - Trondheim

16:00 – Start pursuit or mass start, rollerski classic 11km, ladies (3 laps)
17:00 – Start pursuit or mass start, rollerski classic 15 km, men (4 laps)
