(Falun, Sweden) For four of the six crystal globes their fate will be decided during the upcoming World Cup finals in Falun, Sweden March 16-18, 2018.  For the overall crystal globe both the ladies' and the men's are up for grabs.  Although Johannes Hoesflot Klaebo (NOR) and Heidi Weng (NOR) both have solid leads, there are 200 bonus points available for winning the Falun mini-tour.  Along with the 150 competition points (each day has max 50 points for win) there are 350 points still possible in the overall World Cup standings.

Switzerland's Dario Cologna and Norway's Martin Johnsrud Sundby both trail Klaebo by less than 250 points.  On the ladies' side Weng's teammate Ingvild Flugstad Oestberg trails by 153 and the USA's Jessica Diggins who has podium in her last two events is 260 back.

On the distance side the globe has been decided in the ladies' competition with Weng claiming her second consecutive distance globe.  With only 100 points still remaining she leads Oestberg by 104 points.  On the men's side Cologna leads Sundby and France's Maurice Manificat by less than 100 points and this globe won't be decided until competition ends Sunday.

With the sprint globe it's all but decided in the ladies' race with Maiken Caspersen Falla 48 points ahead of Sweden's Stina Nilsson with only 50 points left up for grabs.  However, its not over yet.  But it is on the men's side with Klaebo claiming his second consecutive sprint globe after his victory in Drammen, Norway last week.
