Compared to the previous day, the tides have turned at the Svenska Skidspelen in Falun (SWE). A fresh layer of snow that set on the crispy course of the previous days was the base for todays 10km in free technique. Therese Johaug proved once again her skills and strength, finishing with a time of 25:23.9 minutes before the Swedish local favourite Ebba Andersson (+18.5) and Jessica Diggins from USA (+30.3).

With the World Cup finals in eye sight (22-24 March in Québec city) the athletes slowly feel the effects of a successful but also strenuous season. Therese Johaug remains unbeaten in competing at distance races as she so far won all 12 individual distance World Cup races (incl. World Championships) in which she participated in this season. Also Ebba Andersson can look back on a very successful season with finishing no less that a top-4 position in all 8 World Cup races she participated in. Jessica Diggins managed to gain speed during the race and unexpectedly beat Ingvild Flugstad Østberg in the final stretch by +0.5 seconds!
