The spectators along the 3.5km course in the final stage of the FIS Cross-Country World Cup in Québec city went wild when local hero Alex Harvey challenged his fellow competitors. Johannes Høsflot Klæbo (NOR) kept cool and went on winning the last competition in classic style of this season. Harvey finishes on a fantastic second rank and Didrik Toenseth (NOR) takes the last spot on the podium.

It was for sure difficult to focus with all the emotions and cheering crowd along the course. Still, the track with some windy corners after some fast descents needed to be handled with care. With the eyes also set on the overall World Cup standing, the last competitions of the season can still be a game changer as Johannes Høsflot Klæbo and Alexander Bolshunov both ring for the titles - only 42 points apart. For many athletes this means "all in" to ensure a good result at the season's end.
