Tobi Angerer elected as Vice-President of DSV

The former world-class Cross-Country skier Tobias Angerer now belongs to the board of the German Ski Association. The delegates of the DSV (German Ski Association) meeting unanimously elected the 41-year-old as vice-president. Angerer, who lives in Traunstein in Upper Bavaria, succeeds Peter Schlickenrieder, who has been working as a full-time trainer for the DSV since the spring and therefore had to retire from his honorary post in the presidium.
The tasks, which Tobias Angerer will take care of in the future will be defined in the coming weeks. "I'm assumingthat together with Tobias Angerer we have found a Vice President who is not only well-versed in the world of elite sport but who devotes himself with a lot of passion and know-how to the manifold tasks in the field of junior and mass sport and will promote this. Tobi has always been a very sympathetic, authentic and exemplary message for skiing, so we are very pleased that he has agreed to play an active role in the DSV presidency," DSV President Dr. Ing. Franz Steinle said
"The passion for winter sports has never let me down, and I look forward to working with the board and the many important projects around the development of young talents. I am of course looking forward to the next big highlight, the Nordic Ski World Cup 2021 in Oberstdorf! " Tobias Angerer stated.
