Swiss National team athletes Nathalie von Siebenthal's training agenda for this summer includes a very special focus: the Mountain Running European Championships in Zermatt (SUI).

The tough run onthe 7th July 2019 is not the first mountain run for the 25-year-old. The high performance at a high altitude was always part of the training schedule of the mountain-loving Swiss. During an interview at the FIS World Ski Championships in Seefeld von Siebenthal stated that she was not at her best and will have to find the best way to get back in shape during summer, amongst other with going back to the roots of her training and thus joining more mountain runs.

To acclimatize, the young Swiss will race at the Swiss Championships of mountain running on 16th June on the 10.6km track which includes an total climb of 1300 m.
