The Distance World Cup winner 2018/19 starts her season in great fashion at the Ruka Triple.

In todays 10km F pursuit, Therese Johaug claims the title of Winner of the Day, Ruka Triple winner and also takes the yellow bib and the new Overall World Cup leader.

Therese Johaug had her eyes set on the mini tour win and fulfilled her goals this weekend.

Heidi Weng and Astrid Uhrenholdt Jacobsen trailed Johaug but could not catch up with the Distance expert. Thanks to solid racing, Weng ends up +1:11.3 minute and Uhrenholdt Jacobsen +1:13.3.

+8.3 seconds behind Johaug, Weng performed the second fastest time +12.6 seconds before Jessica Diggins.
