Second day of the FIS Roller Ski World Cup competition in Beijing started with the 200m sprint. Weather conditions changed compared to the hot day yesterday. The qualifications took place with a slight overcast sky but right for the semi-finals, a strong storm hit the field.

Johannes Høesflot Klæbo and Linn Sömskar strike again. Norway's Jostein Olafsen and Julie Henriette Arnesen recorded the fastest time in qualifying.

Only two Italians passed the rock of qualifications: 5th time for Emanuele Becchis and 9th time for Lisa Bolzan.

On 6th July, the Beijing World Cup concludes with a 22 km mass start.
