Bernhard Tritscher announces retirement

One day after his 32rd birthday, the Austrian Cross-Country World Cup racer Bernhard Tritscher announced his retirement from professional Cross-Country skiing. After 15 years the time has come to focus on new projects.

Many top 10 places in the World Cup as well as 6th and 7th place at the World Ski Championships, 7th place at the Olympic Games in Sochi, the victory in the World Cup prologue Sprint from Dobbiaco as well as the more than 20 Austrian National Championship titles remain the highlights of his career. During a total of 5 World Ski Championships, 2 Olympic Winter Games, 134 World Cup starts Bernhard Tritscher measured himself amongst the Worlds best Cross-Country skiers.
