The final preparations for the 30th Summer Universiade are underway. Double Olympic gold medallist Manuela Di Centa joined the Organizing Committee as coordinator for institutional sports relations between the Campania region, Centro Universitario Sportivo Italiano, International University Sports Federation, Italian National Olympic Committee and participating delegations.
