After 183 World Cup starts and participations at four Olympic Winter Games and eight Nordic World Ski Championships, Toni Livers from Switzerland announced his retirement.

The 36 year-old has started his first World Cup back in 2003 and gained his individual World Cup victory in Davos at 15km in Free technique. In December 2010, he earned the first victory for the Swiss 4x10km relay team in La Clusaz together with Dario Cologna, Remo Fischer and Curdin Perl.

During his 16 years in the World Cup, Toni has always been a valuable team member in the Swiss Cross-Country and also in the FIS Cross-Country World Cup family. Therefore the FIS Cross-Country family is happy to hear that Toni will remain in a coaching position for the junior teams and wish you all the best for your next chapter in life!
