A successful ROL World Cup weekend completed in Estonia

From 21st to 23rd August, Tehvandi Sports Center and the city of Tartu in Estonia, hosted this years first Roller Skiing World Cup weekend. Despite Covid-19 related restrictions, the organizers can be proud of thrilling competitions. The well organised event started off with a Sprint C at the Tehevandi Sport Center.

On Saturday, the mens and womens competitor field awaited a 27km long mass start competition in Free technique around the city of Tartu. Fantastic conditions and tactical racing by the athletes made Saturdays competition quite memorable.

Sundays final competition day of the World Cup in Estonia awaited with a 10km C and 15km C. Athletes finally headed back to competition mode and will move on to Madona next weekend to hold the next weekend full of competitions. Thanks to all the athletes, the audience and the organizers.
