Linn Svahn (SWE) faced a difficult task in the third stage of the Tour de Ski. With a margin of 19 seconds, she set out in the 10km F Pursuit, before Jessie Diggins (USA), Frida Karlsson (SWE), Rosie Brennan (USA) and Anamarija Lampic (SLO) were on the move. Within the first lap, the successor group of Karlsson, Diggins and Brennan narrowed the gap to 7 seconds and passed her on the following uphill.

Frida Karlsson actively took the leading work, knowing that an attempt to break away from the two American athletes would cost her final resources and that those were needed for the final lap.

Indeed this was what Jessie Diggins was looking forward to. With a clear move, Diggins took the lead into the final round and leaped up the hill, leaving no chances to keep up. Racing the fastest time of the day, Diggins takes her seventh World Cup victory before her team colleague Rosie Brennan and Frida Karlsson.

Katharina Hennig (GER) and Krista Pärmäkoski (FIN) finish their races in 9th and 10th position supporting each other in racing the 5th and 6th fastest time of the day.
